Ford Drive 4 UR School
Welcome to our new blog! We will be making all kinds of posts here to let you guys in on the exciting things going on at Bud Shell Ford. For our first blog post, we’d like to talk about a recent community fundraiser that we hosted. On April 7, Bud Shell Ford hosted a Ford Drive 4 UR School event at the Bearcat Event center. This event was meant to raise money for the Dexter Middle School Junior Beta Club. They are planning a large trip to the National Beta Convention and needed some funding. We are pleased to report that hundreds of people came out to support this fantastic event, despite it being a rainy day and the event having a previous postponement. We also had volunteers from the school who did a fantastic job of keeping the event running smoothly. The fact that so many people braved the less than desirable conditions to support the kids was awesome to see.
At this event, people could test drive a new vehicle, and for each test drive, Ford would donate $20 to the cause. We had all kinds of our new inventory there for people to drive. There were Mustangs, King Ranch trucks, Ford EcoSports, and the all new Ford Expedition Platinum. That’s just to name a few! We also had Drive 4 UR School shirts, notebooks, and pencils we handed out to attendees. People had a blast taking these new cars for a spin, and most importantly, thousands of dollars were raised for the Junior Beta Club. To everyone who supported this event; thank you. We at Bud Shell Ford are proud to support the community we’ve been a part of for 74 years.
